It has been our pleasure to financially contribute to the fundraiser for Zoes place which is a local hospice. Donations can be made at www.zoes-place.org.uk
A message from The Redmen Tv
Thank you so much for donating to this great cause. We really appreciate it. Please keep an eye on our socials and the stream on the day as we’ll be giving out a couple of prizes to people who have donated to the cause!
A special thank you from Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice – Liverpool for supporting A new home for Zoe’s Place in Liverpool
Thank you so much for your continued support for Zoe’s Place Liverpool. As Zoe’s Place continues to work as hard as possible through our consultation phase to find a positive solution for our hospice, children and their families, we will continue to raise as much money as we can. However, if no solution is found in time, and our hospice does unfortunately have to close, your donation will then be used to pay for the day-to-day care that we deliver.
Thank you,
Zoe’s Place, Liverpool

Congratulations to our student Matt Allen on completing his skydive in September and in doing so, raising a fantastic £2305 for Vasculitis UK. Matt wanted to do something to raise money for this wonderful charity because his father sadly passed away from vasculitis a couple of years ago. What an amazing thing to do, we are all so proud of you Matt, and your pictures look brilliant! More information on Matt’s skydiving charity campaign and vasculitis can be found here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/matthew-nathan-allen-tarana-vasculitis-skydive

The National Charity for older people, the terminally ill and their pets
The Cinnamon Trust
The only specialist national charity for older people and their much loved, much needed companions.
Our aim is to build friendships with the owners who come to us for help. The Trust can then extend this friendship by introducing volunteers that will help with the day to day care of a pet when this has become difficult. Together we make sure that these little heroes who mean so much remain happy and healthy.
Nationally The Cinnamon Trust helps over 150,000 people a year with 158,000+ animals and runs two home from home sanctuaries, we could not do this without the support of our volunteers and supporters.

Joanne: Degree Completion
Congratulations!
Well done Joanne for completing your BSc (Hons) Accounting Degree (June 2022) at Edge Hill University.
We are extremely proud of you, we know how hard you have worked for this achievement.
Joanne joined our company in June 2020 completing a work placement programme to accompany her course.
During this time she has been an important part of our office team, and has helped the company to make improvements setting us up with an accounting package for the processing of our invoices and timesheets.
With her degree now completed, Joanne plans to continue studying for a Masters so we wish her all the very best of luck going forward with that.
Joanne will remain working with us for one day per week as she will be taking up work opportunities with a local accountancy firm.
This will provide her with first hand experience of day to day life in an accountancy environment.
Good luck Joanne!

November 2020
Scholars Mentoring Company are happy to share the following short story of a special journey, in the hope that their journey will inspire and offer some encouragement to other students thinking of studying at University.
Saeed Zahid
A short excerpt from Saeed’s journey:
At the time of writing, we are in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and a lot of students might feel that it’s not the right time to study. But there is no time like the present! The universities have coped so well to set up alternatives and to maintain a safe yet student-friendly environment. Whilst certain things have been impacted, the quality on offer hasn’t, and neither will the end result be with you getting your degree. Don’t forget also that there is so much support available too that will help you when you need it. Whether it’s at the university itself or it’s through Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), there’s support every step of the way and it is absolutely phenomenal. There’s support for proofreading, transcribing, Study Skills, Mentoring as well as software that’s available for students with visual/audio impairments and learning conditions. I would rate it a thousand out of a thousand and if it wasn’t for the support available from the university, the DSA and from Scholars Mentoring Company, I might not have been able to get to where I am now!
