Introducing Lennie, our mascot!
Hello, I am Lennie, official mascot for Scholars Mentoring Company since 14th February 2022.
My daddy is Michael from Scholars, and he brings me to the office every Friday so I can be adorable and cute all day long.
My role is to bring great joy and fun to everyone I meet, and to cheer you all on with your excellent efforts.
It is my pleasure to be an official mascot, I get lots of treats, cuddles and hugs whenever I like, I get to run around the office garden and pose for pictures.
I am at the office every Friday if you would like to phone me or to have a zoom call, I am fully trained in all areas of cuteness and happiness and looking forward to meeting new friends.

Introducing Freddie,
Hi everyone! I am Freddie. I am 12 months old and I am a very handsome Cocker-Spaniel.
My auntie is Jan at Scholars, and her hubby is my uncle John!
Every Wednesday I am at the office all day while my lovely mummy goes to work for the NHS.
I enjoy bringing good fun, cuteness and plenty of happiness for the team, chasing around the garden is good too.
I often get told “stop digging Freddie” if I fancy making a hole in the grass lol.
Going for long walks, play-fighting, and having a few little naps throughout the day are just a few of my favourite things.
I am a big fan of Scholars Mentoring Company – great team, great students, great mentors…..simply put it’s all marvellous!!!
Introducing Olly & Layla,
Hi, I’m Olly and I’m Layla.
Our lovely mummy is Vicky from Scholars.
We are brother & sister and we are 5 years young.
We are very happy doggies, we love getting treats, and also lots of love, hugs and plenty of cuddles.
Sleeping, chilling out and going out for short walks and little adventures is what we enjoy, and of course good food!
On our birthday our mummy and family always throw us a birthday party “Cheers for that” . We like this a lot.
We rather like the team at Scholars Mentoring Company because of how much they love the work they do supporting students.
Introducing Polly,
Our auntie is Jan from Scholars. Jan and uncle John love coming to visit me and love bringing me little treats and surprises.
My mummy and daddy are the bestest friends ever and ever with auntie Jan and uncle John.
My hobbies and interests entail daily walks, going to the beach, new adventures, UK holidays, and having a good old bark at other doggies, just for fun of course!!!
Football is a passion of mine and my family for all of our lives, its got to be of course Liverpool Football Club – “come on the reds”
I am also a big fan of Scholars Mentoring Company – they are so lovely and kind and want to always be at their best for the students they help.
Introducing Archie,
(In Loving Memory 2011 – 2022)
I am a cocker-spaniel, and my life has been wonderful. My life has been filled with achieving great wisdom, experiences, adventures, having fun and so much more!
It has been brilliant! (Oh and chasing the postman on a daily basis 😊)
My aunt is Jan @ Scholars and my uncle is her hubby John.
When my lovely family needs to go out, or on holiday, or to watch the St Helens Rugby team, well I go and stay with Jan.
We have such a good time together, and I always receive “Maximum Enjoyment”. We have been away on holidays and mini-breaks together. Enjoyed plenty of activities and overall had the best time.
Jan and I enjoy watching the Tennis together snuggled up on the sofa. We have spent hours and hours of the past decade watching a lot of Tennis. 🎾
Our favourite players are Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray.
Introducing Charles & Henry,
(In Loving Memory 1999 – 2011)
Hey! We are Charles & Henry. We are twins and we are inseparable buddies.
Our mummy is Jan @ Scholars and our daddy is John, her husband.
- Our mummy says we are the most adorable and fabulous boys.
- Our mummy says we are the most handsome gorgeous fellas.
- Our mummy says we are so well-behaved, obedient, and highly trained.
- Our mummy just loves us so much, we get everything we want from mummy.
Our daddy however, will say we are rather naughty, mischievous boys and frequently get into trouble? Our daddy cant take his eyes off us for just one minute or else.
We are golden Labradors.
We are full of life, very giddy, hyperactive, love attention and getting cuddles.
We love to play, chase around the garden, roll around in muddy fields, play in water, go for long walks, eat allot of food and scrounge extra food whenever possible. Our favourite thing is of course focused around food / eating food. – yummy! 😋 😋
We get to spend plenty of time with mummy and daddy, plus visiting with family and friends.
The best time is when we are at home chilling out at home watching telly.
We like watching football so as you can imagine we get to watch allot of football.
The players we’ve enjoyed watching over the years are Steven Gerrard, Christiano Ronaldo and David Beckham.
